I have seen a few other disinfectants out there that cost less, why is that?
The first thing we would recommend to do is check the ingredients of the advertised product. The less expensive disinfectants typically are ‘quats’, or quaternary ammonium compounds. While these quat disinfectants do the job, they come with many unpleasant and dangerous side effects and are even classified as ‘dangerous goods’. Virus Shield VS-1000 is a peroxide basic disinfectant, and much safer than quats during and after usage. Safer for you, your children, your pets, your family, your guests, patients and/or clients.
Can you tell me a little more about the disinfectants using quaternary ammonium compounds?

We would like to refer you to these outside unbiased articles regarding quats: Article1, Article2.
